How to display this label on your products?

It is the organic certification through a certification body like Ecocert which enables to display the" organic textile" mention in association with the GOTS logo.The marketed products are thus inspected as compliant to the GOTS standard, ensuring a guarantee all through the supply chain until the consumers. There are two certification levels.

Level 1: Organic textiles

  • 95% minimum of fibres coming from organic agriculture
  • 5% maximum of synthetic or artificial fibres

Level 2: textiles containing X% organic fibres

  • 70% minimum of fibres coming from organic agriculture
  • 10% maximum of synthetic or artificial fibres, this threshold to 25% for footwear, long underwear and sportswear
  • 30% from non organic fibres if the raw materials are neither organic, nor recycled or from a sustainable forest management
