In a move to strengthen its governance and enrich its strategic thinking on sustainable transformation issues, the Ecocert Group has announced the appointment of two new experts to its Strategic Committee: Samira Chakkaf Andalouci and Sandra Valmier. They took up their positions during the Committee's last meeting on July 3, 2025.
A pioneer in organic certification for over 30 years, Ecocert places social and environmental responsibility at the heart of its model. In response to the profound changes affecting the environment, society, and the economy, the Strategic Committee is expanding its scope to include new profiles and skills.
This renewal aims to support the Group's strategy in terms of innovation, digital transformation, and societal impact. It also marks a clear commitment to increasing diversity in career paths and the representation of women in governance bodies.
Samira Chakkaf Andalouci has built a rich and diverse career at the crossroads of communication, digital transformation, and civic engagement. After leading communications and CSR at Voyages-sncf.com, she founded her own consulting firm, which has been recognized for its campaigns for major brands. She joined the office of the Secretary of State before recently joining Renault Group to head external communications for Ampère, the division dedicated to electric vehicles. Her commitment to social and environmental transitions is also reflected in her role as a reserve officer and various local mandates. A certified director, she has served on the board of directors of the Raja Group, a leader in packaging in Europe.
Sandra Valmier brings solid strategic expertise forged in the fields of consulting, marketing, and governance. Former Group VP of Marketing at Altran (innovation and engineering consulting, now Capgemini), she has supported the transformation of several large international organizations. She has held the position of Director of Business Development & Marketing for the EMEA region at Baker McKenzie, now holds a senior position on the Executive Committee of SKEMA Business School, where she created the Women in Engineering network. A graduate of the MBA program at Chicago Booth, she has also been a certified director since 2023. Both share the same vision: an economic model firmly focused on sustainability, responsible innovation, and the common good.
As a major player in the ecological transition, Ecocert operates in more than 130 countries, promoting sustainable sectors through certification, consulting, and training. In line with its CSR strategy updated in 2022, the Group reaffirms its commitment to transparency, openness to civil society, and co-construction of its actions with its stakeholders.
With these two appointments, Ecocert has taken another step forward in structuring its governance. The Strategic Committee now benefits from broader expertise to support the company in its strategic decisions, in close alignment with its long-term mission: act for a sustainable world.
For over 30 years, ECOCERT has been supporting numerous stakeholders in the implementation and promotion of sustainable practices through certification, consulting, and training. Committed to organic farming since its creation in 1991, ECOCERT has now expanded its activities to many other sectors. With a presence in around 30 countries through international subsidiaries and as a key player in the ecological transition, the group places social responsibility at the heart of its services.
