What is the purpose of Verification claim FSA?
The Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) provides companies a standardized approach to achieve their sustainable farming targets.
What are the key guarantees of FSA?
FSA is designed to improve social, environmental, economic and general farm management practices.
How to get the FSA label?
In order to get verified under FSA you need to register with SAI Platform and then mandate a verification body such as Ecocert.
Companies are permitted to make FSA performance level claims on their website, product websites and on social media:

Using the name Farm Sustainability Assessment,

Indicating Bronze, Silver or Gold performance levels,

Displaying the FSA logo.
Reference to SAI Platform is not permitted “on-pack”, i.e. on consumer-facing packaging material.
For which category of products?
The FSA used for crop production is applicable for arable, vegetable, fruit and crops, although it is not applicable for wild harvest.
Who can get certified FSA?
FSA is intended for farms of all sizes (including large, smallholders and grower groups).
