What is the purpose of Fair for Life certification?
Fair For Life certification allows your products coming from Fair Trade to be commercialized worldwide.
Key commitments of the Fair for Life programme
The Fair for Life label is based on ambitious requirements in terms of fairness, social responsibility and environmental responsibility. It includes in particular:
- pricing mechanisms designed to ensure fair remuneration for producers
- an economic protection mechanism for producers, including a minimum price calculated on the basis of their production costs
- requirements for decent and safe working conditions for workers
- measures aimed at strengthening the autonomy of producers and their organisations
- environmentally responsible agricultural practices that support the transition to organic farming
How to get the FFL label on your products?
The labelling by an independant certification body like Ecocert enables to display the logo Fair For Life on the products when 80% of its raw materials come from Fair Trade

Fair for Life applies to agricultural raw materials, foodstuff, cosmetics, detergents, textiles and handicrafts.
Who can apply to get Fair For Life label?
Producers, Grower groups, processors, importers or exporters, brands, distributors can apply for this Fair Trade label.
