Job Description:
We are hiring a RECEPTIONIST & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT that will be based in our Somerset West office. You will report directly to the Evaluation Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the daily, logistical and administrative operations of the Evaluation Department and be the first point of contact for auditors as well as guests or incoming calls.

  • Issuing of audit assignments
  • Continuous report deadline follow-ups
  • Support and contact point for auditors
  • Administrative assistance to the Analysis Officer
  • Transfer of incoming calls
  • General project/office assistance to other managers


  • Minimum requirement is a diploma in business, agriculture or other relevant qualification.
  • High level of computer literacy – confident MS Office user.
  • Excellent English spoken and written competency. Other languages and/or experience in reception, office management or communication would be beneficial.
  • An interest and/or experience in sustainable farming and/or certification would be beneficial.
  • Self-confident, willing to learn and organized to the point of perfectionism.
Remuneration: Market related, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Type of contract: Permanent (6-month probation)
Benefits: 60% medical aid contribution (after probation), life- and disability insurance (after 12 months)
