The climate fresk at Ecocert

Why offer it to our teams?

Ecocert aims to make its employees ambassadors for a sustainable world. To achieve this, we have chosen to roll out the Fresque du Climat, a powerful awareness-raising tool, across all our teams.

Distributed by the association of the same name, it is a three-hour educational and collaborative workshop based on collective intelligence. It enables all participants to gain the same knowledge about the causes and consequences of climate change and thus to better build a sustainable future together.

Deployment within the Group

After participating in a Fresque du Climat workshop, members of management wanted to offer this educational and collaborative workshop to all Ecocert employees.

So, in June 2023, an initial group of employees was trained in facilitation. We then invited all our teams to participate in seminars, team meetings, and even inter-team meetings to meet new colleagues and exchange ideas with them.

While most of the French teams were able to participate in 2023, the teams in our international subsidiaries followed suit in 2024! We called on local facilitators and even trained some of our employees (in Germany, China, Mexico, etc.) in facilitation.

And then?

• The Fresque continues

The Fresque doesn't end when the workshop ends! We collect all the suggestions for improvement made during the last part of the workshop and use them to improve our processes and identify ways to take action (events, initiatives, information, etc.).

For example, the Ecocert Carbon Committee assesses the impact, costs, and feasibility of carbon projects within the Group and then submits them to the executive committee.

• Eco-anxiety

We also support our employees after the fresco to help them manage the eco-anxiety that such an exercise can generate. That's why we provide them with a wealth of informative and inspiring resources to help them take (or resume) action. If that's not enough, our partner moka care can also step in to support them.

• A key moment in integration

The Climate Collage is a powerful marker within Ecocert, a shared experience lived around the world. The workshop has also become a milestone in the integration of new employees.

In short, the Climate Collage is an important step within the Group in order to continue working towards a sustainable world.
