Dear client, dear reader,

The quick expansion of COVID-19 becomes a major concern for everyone.

As a certification body, with our teams auditing on the field, health and security are a constant priority for us. Within this epidemic context, we believe that it is our duty to keep you informed about the measures that have been implemented in our organisation in order to secure certification while continuing to deliver our service the safest way possible.

Since the end of January, a dedicated centralized team is following-up the official recommendations of the World Health Organization as well as those of all national governments where we are maintaining certified operations. This team informs regularly all the employees about the situation, provides safety advices in order to limit the risks of contamination and secure our operations in each concerned country.

We have been immediately taking strict measures within the whole Ecocert group by prohibiting all travels to and from affected zones (whether international or local) and imposing clear travel restrictions in the non-officially affected zones.

Disruptions to auditing schedules may be unavoidable. Despite these disturbances, our goal is to continue delivering our services and keeping certifications ongoing without putting client's operations and employees at risk, and we are in this respect in close contact with relevant authorities as well as standards owners to implement as much as possible alternative solutions such as extension of certificate validity or completion of remote audits. These options will be studied case-by-case basis depending our risk analysis.

As a trusted partner, please be assured we support you in this challenging time,
