- We are seeking a results‑driven Certification Sales Specialist / Business Development to drive revenue growth through the sale of our accredited certification services, primarily GOTS and Textile Exchange. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and increasing wallet share.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong hunter mindset, consultative selling capabilities, and the ability to educate prospective clients on the strategic value of certification, while guiding them through the assessment and onboarding process.
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients across Textiles, Accessories, Trading, Chemicals, and Auxiliary industries through cold calling, face‑to‑face visits, referrals, and networking.
- Active Client Acquisition: Engage with brands, importers, buying agencies, manufacturers, and traders to promote GOTS and Textile Exchange certification services.
- Account Management & Retention: Build and nurture long‑term relationships with existing clients to ensure Client retention, Timely renewals for annual surveillance audits and Recertification and service expansion opportunities
- End‑to‑End Pipeline Ownership: Manage the full sales lifecycle in coordination with Sales Officers and Customer Relationship Officers (CROs).
- Sales Coordination: Primary research and prospect data, Proposal preparation,
- Client coordination and follow‑ups
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry standards, regulatory updates, accreditation requirements, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Adoption Growth: Drive awareness, penetration, and adoption of GOTS and Textile Exchange standards across the assigned region.
- Represent Ecocert India Pvt. Ltd. at Industry exhibitions and trade fairs, Academic and technical conferences, Government and stakeholder forums
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Customer Relationship Officers (CROs), Sales Officers, Auditors and Technical Reviewers to ensure accurate project scoping, smooth onboarding, and timely service delivery.
