On-Farm Climate Action Fund Application Information

Join the fight against climate change! Ecocert Canada and the Canada Organic Trade Association (COTA) have partnered to provide organic farmers with an opportunity to participate in the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) Program. The goal of the OFCAF program is to provide farmers with technical and financial support to implement Beneficial Management Practices for nitrogen management and cover crops to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This funding is part of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Agriculture Climate Solutions department. The program encourages operators to adopt BMPs to increase legumes into crop rotations and utilize cover crops.
