Job description

  • Obtain and maintain accreditations from accreditation bodies
  • Manage appropriate relationship with accreditation bodies to establish and preserve a transparent and mutual trust environment
  • Manage and organize external audits
  • Provide reporting and data to accreditation body and to internal stakeholders when needed
  • Raise awareness of staff on quality principles and accreditation requirements. Provide trainings when necessary.
  • Support managers to understand, implement and improve processes, procedures and objectives
  • Ensure the management system is established, implemented and maintained, in collaboration with schemes officers
  • Manage and perform internal audits to check the efficiency and the adequacy of the management system
  • Manage the quality management system of the Entity (define, control, update and improve rules, methods and tools), in compliance with Group Quality System
  • Roll out Group Quality System in the local Entity
  • Define and implement methods and tools to safeguard impartiality as regards to staff, related bodies and activities of the Entity, in collaboration with scheme officers and managers.

Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Life Science, Food Technology, Agriculture, or related fields.
  • Experience: 5+ years in quality assurance in food sector, exposure to organic industry will be added advantage (proven working experience as Quality Executive or Manager)
  • Technical skills:
    - Monitoring the organizations Quality Management System
    - Management of external and internal audits
    - Assessment of improvement actions related to management system
    - Provision of information requested – data validation and analysis
    - Knowledge of accreditation and scheme changes
