Job Vacancy | TEXTILE OPERATION MANAGER

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: Bachelor/Master degree and 5 years minimum in Textile sector Bilingual in English

MAIN TASKS: MAIN MISSIONS WITHIN ECOCERT India:

Manage the production (quality, productivity, customer satisfaction) of the subsidiary's textile certification services (audit, certification, TCs).

Manage the team under his/her responsibility:

• Support and motivate its team to achieve the objectives by giving feedback, advice and helping them to solve problems and difficulties
• Ensure that its teams have the skills and means necessary to fulfill their missions
• Recruit and train its team as well as maintain the qualification of its team on all programs.

Operational management:

• Supervise the quality of service (deadline, customer satisfaction, complaints)
• Be responsible for the proper follow-up of technical procedures and compliance with regulations in force
• Drive a continuous improvement process to optimize work practices and tools
• Ensure a monthly reporting to the managing direction.
• Undertake other assignments as identified by Ecocert India as appropriate to ensure delivery of services are according to quality procedures and/or comply with accreditation requirements.
• Maintain quality records and provide required information to all concerned regarding implementation of quality system.
• Participate in and manage internal/external audits from EGL and external accreditation bodies

Manage the textile service programs:

• Carry out general/global reviews and make certification decisions
• Propose modifications of the concerned programs to Textile BU Scheme Manager
• Supervise the transition plan, its implementation and customer communication
• Regular follow-up with auditor for the assigned inspection & inspection realized before the deadline.
• Drafting documents for the Ecocert certification committee if requested.
• Implement and manage the new and existing sustainable textile certification services in India and neighbouring countries

OTHER TASKS: as needed by the Textile Dept

TOOLS and MEANS: IT Tools & all useful supports.

PROCEDURES: general applicable procedures and instructions from ECOCERT Group / Ecocert Greenlife / ECOCERT India.
