The Institute for Sustainable Food Systems of Kwantlen Polytechnic University calling all BC farmers and processors interested in extension services for organic agriculture and food.
The Institute for Sustainable Food Systems has the opportunity and funding from the BC Ministry of Agriculture to develop a plan for an extension service for organic agriculture and post-production in BC. What we mean by extension is informal education (e.g. advising, workshops, seminars, farm tours, publications) related to organic methods, tools, and knowledge.
If you are interested in organic extension, the Institute for Sustainable Food Systems want to hear from you. The ministry is listening and now is your opportunity to say what you want and need. You do not have to be a certified organic farm or business to participate in the survey.
The survey is anonymous and should take about 15 minutes. Participants can enter a raffle for 1 of 5 VISA gift cards worth $100 each. Survey is open until August 15th, 2020. Survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/OrganicExtensionBC.
