Ecocert is 20 years old !

The year 2011 marks the 20th anniversary of Ecocert, the first certification body specialized in organic farming. Since its creation in 1991, Ecocert has developed a unique expertise and won the consumers and professionals’ trust. This anniversary is the opportunity to look back on our journey and to reassert our historic commitment in sustainable development.

Primarily at the service of a rigourous, diversified and respectful organic farming, we have broadened our action to ecoproducts, such as cosmetics, textiles or cleaning products and also to fair trade.

Over and above our technical skills, it is our common desire to work towards preserving the environment that gives Ecocert strength and legitimacy. Created in 2010, the Ecocert corporate foundation is the logic extension of our commitment.

We would like to thank very sincerely those who, in one way or another, make their contributions and allow us to promote the development of more responsibles practices !
