To order the standard: Please send your application to thte Eco_products department. We remain at your disposal should you have any questions regarding the standard.
Please complete and return the Questionnaire for the Pre-Survey, which will be sent to you together with the standard.
A contract is drawn up between ECOCERT and the applicant. It is renewed by tacit reconduction every year. By signing the contract, the applicant undertakes to submit to the standard requirements and agrees to the audits (2 a year).
The deadline for obtaining an initial appointment is generally three weeks. ECOCERT will send you the documents in advance for completion with a view to preparing for the audit.
The elements audited are as follows::

Processes used (dye)
Percentages of organic fibres
Supplier commitment to the raw materials delivered
Verification of packaging used
Inspection of labeling
Only plant or mineral dyes or those complying with the Oekotex label are accepted.
Compliance with standard ISO 105 for finished product.
Recyclable, minimised packaging.
Manufacturer:
Transport and storage of ingredients and finished products
Hygiene and cleaning of manufacturing and packaging zones
Management of energy, discharges and waste (selective sorting and recycling)
Assessment of the global quality system (traceability) and self-inspection
Following the audit, the Eco-Products department processes your file and sends you the audit findings together, if possible, with your attestation of conformity.
Attestations of conformity list all the products that are labeled: ‘Organic Textile’ or ‘Textile based on organic fibres’
