Regulation governing intrants
Suppliers of inputs are not subject to any specific mandatory controls within the context of the different regulations governing organic farming, with the exception of nutritional supplements for animals within the meaning of EC regulation no. 834/2007.
It is therefore advisable for the user to ensure the compliance of his purchases, by obtaining exhaustive details of the input’s composition.
ECOCERT proposes that inputs manufacturers verify the conformity of their products, for which ECOCERT has developed a service.
